Our Journey
Carolina Consortium of Care was founded on a legacy of compassion, dignity, and more than four decades of hands-on service to our community. After 45 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant serving patients and families with unwavering dedication, Elizabeth Bradshaw retired from Kershaw County Medical Center—but her calling to care for others did not end there. Instead, it inspired a new beginning.
What started as a small, personal home healthcare service quickly grew through word-of-mouth and trusted referrals from families across Kershaw County who recognized the exceptional level of care, respect, and attention Elizabeth provided. Her work has always been guided by a simple belief: everyone deserves to age, recover, and live with dignity in the comfort of their own home.
Today, Carolina Consortium of Care builds upon that trusted foundation to serve a broader mission—expanding services to seniors, veterans, and families in need of respite care throughout Kershaw, Lee, and Sumter counties. We are committed to supporting our community’s most vulnerable populations with personalized, dependable, and compassionate care tailored to each individual’s needs.
